A Professional Corporation

Our Senior Partners

Mark A. Massey has been practicing law since 1995. Before that, he served a clerkship for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office in its Appellate Division. He was also selected to serve as the President and Editor-In-Chief of the noted Glendale Law Review while attending law school, before he earned his juris doctorate and passed the California State Bar exam on his first attempt. He began his career in law as a prosecuting attorney for the Los Angeles Office of the County Counsel handling juvenile dependency (child abuse and neglect) cases. As such, he represented the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), and learned a great deal about the policies and practices of the DCFS and other Counties' child services agencies. Hence, Mr. Massey was uniquely situated to provide parents, legal guardians, and relative or non-relative caretakers (defacto parents) of children the best, most knowledgeable and aggressive representation available when he left prosecuting them and began to represent them in the trial and appellate courts. He has since defended parents, legal guardians, relative and non-relative caretakers (defacto parents), children, grandparents and others in many different California counties against allegations of child abuse or neglect. The Los Angeles Superior Court has found and declared that Mr. Massey is an "Expert in Juvenile Dependency Trial and Appellate Law and Practice." That he has not sought certification as a juvenile dependency specialist indicates nothing about his qualifications as such. However, Mr. Massey has not limited his law practice to Juvenile Dependency cases. He has sharpened his trial skills in civil jury and court trials, as a criminal defense attorney - including juvenile delinquency cases, and he has handled many other business, contractual, probate (legal guardianships, conservatorships, wills and trusts, etc.) and various other sorts of cases. Meet with Mr. Massey and you will know that you are retaining simply the best legal representation available.
